Henry Paton born parish Dollar Clackmannanshire county Scotland about 1851 - father John Paton occupation carpenter and Jane Gibson his mother. On 30th May 1874 Henry was entered into the Freemason Lodge St Andrew No 465 Glasgow Scotland. The 4th June 1874 Henry sailed from Greenock (Glasgow) to Lyttelton New Zealand on the ship 'Canterbury'. It was her maiden voyage and he was age 24 occupation ploughman from the district of Clackmannan.

Sister Leo Noeline Paton
Born 10 February 1912 Wellington New Zealand. Parents Henry (Harry) Paton and Annie Alison nee Christie. Siblings Henry (Harry) Mckinlay, Molly, Gibson Douglas and Eris Annie.
Noeline on leaving school worked in Christchurch and during the war years became a lay assistant at St Ninians Presbyterian Church. She decided to enter full-time work of the church in 1947 and entered the Deaconess College in Dunedin.
Appointed Deaconess in Chalmers 1949. Resigned from Chalmers Presbyterian Church Timaru in 1955 and entered Teachers College in Christchurch.
For several years Sister Leo Noeline Paton was on staff of the Cerebral Palsy School in Christchurch and in 1962 became the Head of the Dunedin Cerebral Palsy School.
Later on in life, retired to the Otago Peninsula. Noeline died 1st February 1985 age 74 at Waikari Hospital Dunedin. She was cremated at Andersons Bay Cemetery.
